Maison de l’Avenir (House of the Future) is more than just a brand—it’s a deeply personal journey that spans three generations. For me, Sunit Sheth, fragrance has always been in the air—quite literally.

Some of my earliest memories are trading the quiet suburbs of London for the bustling souqs of Dubai, where I’d watch my grandfather expertly trade oud oils and attars, their rich, heady aroma lingering in the air long after the deals were made. I can still recall the mesmerizing swirl of scents that seemed to carry stories of faraway lands and ancient traditions.

At home, my father carried on this legacy with boundless energy, establishing our first operations in the United Kingdom and building a bridge between the East and the West. His enthusiasm was infectious—often accompanied by many a spritz of a new fragrance filling the room as he meticulously tested his creations.

While perfumery was my birthright, I took a detour to Unilever HQ in London, where I was lucky enough to get my hands into one of their biggest brands, AXE/Lynx. There, I learned how to turn a product into a cultural phenomenon and help support a major brand shift from 'spray to get the girl', to a leading men's-grooming brand. Subsequent to that I was working with Tesco.com, in the foundation years of eCommerce as a major revenue stream for Unilever. We were in a unique position, with the power and resources of an organization like Unilever, but flexibility to build and customize our business to capitalize on the eCommerce world.

But heritage has a way of calling you back. With the scent of home in my nose, nine years ago, I moved back to Dubai, joined the family business, ready to bring a fresh perspective and a vision for the future.
